What can I expect during a CBT session?
During a CBT session, you can expect to discuss your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Together, you and I will work on identifying patterns and developing strategies to address challenges.
Is CBT Evidence Based?
Yes, CBT is one of the most researched forms of therapy. Numerous studies have demonstrated its effectiveness in treating various mental health conditions, making it a recommended first-line treatment by many mental health organisations.
Is online CBT as good as face to face?
Studies have shown that online CBT can be as effective as in-person therapy for various conditions, including anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Many clients appreciate the comfort and privacy of connecting from home.
What happens if I cant attend my session?
If you are unable to attend your CBT appointment, please let me know in advance (48hrs). Cancellations will incur a 50% fee, and missed appointments (no-shows) will be charged at 100%. Any outstanding fees must be paid before another session can be booked.
How long does CBT typically last?
The duration of CBT varies depending on individual needs and goals. Generally, it can range from a few weeks to several months, with sessions typically held weekly or biweekly.
